002. A poem from Within

 Present day.

Mother Zambia`s inauguration day for  her 7th National President. 

The joys and hopes from the "possibility of change" the majority nation is feeling, I felt it too. The fears of the minority that supported the losing parties, I felt them too. The visions of all those partial observers not emotionally disturbed by this massive change. And the knowledge of a borderless mind. And also the focus of ….. 

Question. What do you think are the differences between the following two scenarios?

Liberation seems like the beginning of  a disaster. Maybe we should have limits to everything we do.

    Ooh Dear Self,     Beloved present Self. 

I am aware of the present darkness and I’m coming to light. I have fed myself with lots and lots of beautiful poems, the dreams of the communities, the injustices of the corrupt, the hopes of humble shepherds and servants, the promises of the future, the prayers of the oppressed and those that seek redemption and an ultimate check mate to life, a career of my choice. 

Therefore, my inner self is filled with real love, unbiased understanding, true belief and a deep feeling of belonging to life as though I never existed in me before this moment. Now that I’m living, every moment feels like my last one. Lost in thoughts, I recall a certain conversation with my young brother Patrick that sounded exactly as the message I sent to my future self to come seeking me with, when I’m about to pick the wrong career (this makes the author the past me now in the present and in search of my future self). And the message was, is and forever would be;

                            “Dear old self,     Beloved old self. I am still alive and I can now move freely in the fiery shadows as though there is light, just like you are hoping to become. I have passed through everything you would ever pass through so I would never judge you. But for real Mate, this time you have to wake up completely, no more diving into the past in search of creating a vivid future, you have to come create it from the present. No one in the history of Inception has ever gone so deep the dive you have made this time. You have won every battle the universe has presented to you and in return the creator has created a career of your design or purpose. 

                            From now onwards it is going to be fast forward jumps to present reality where you would find strong old forces like poverty, greed, piracy, laziness, doubt, jealousy, deceit and envy roaming freely even in the public. Don’t worry you would meet selfless people who had lived a similar life to yours, they would help you get to the present in just 120 days. These 120 days would be the darkest days of your life (lose your entire identity, share conversations with madness and death, eat once to twice every day and completely forget everything you had learnt) but because you have an eyesight for goodness and disciplines of a shepherd, these same days would include also the most promising days of your life (you would learn the truths you’ve been seeking, understand the disciplines of hardship, learn to think and create, meet the most beautiful lady according to your standards, share meals and have real conversations with different but good people). 

                            And among all those atrocities lies one essential cornerstone for building your career, the Inevitability of Change. Use this fact to change your thinking levels as fast as you can, all the way to the last level where you would meet me and we would both set sail to the horizon.”

The young boy you sent, delivered my message and has found a purpose in delivering mails through timeline loops so I can say with utmost precision that he is in a better place. Me however, not so much. Now that I know it’s inevitable for me to reach all my goals, that I can succeed at everything I focus at, that I could acquire anything I desire, also learn the language of the heart that the soul of the universe communicates through and live the rest of my life with a purpose. I strongly feel as though time is not moving as fast as it should, change is not coming as fast as it could and I’m finding it very hard to stick to someone else’s schedule, whether school or work.

Therefore, I had to create for myself a perfect environment and a schedule that incorporates both learning and practice, giving and receiving, listening and talking and also working and living. I had to rid myself off with all those strong old forces by believing I could and now I am learning the language of the heart, I should mention, it feels like True Love and its understanding is perfect. This language unburdens the soul of its learner and everyone else the learners soul touches, it even heals the sick, interpret dreams of the people, feed the hungry, guide the shepherds and awards the curious with the answers they seek. I'm yet to understand what else this communication could do and judging from recent activities, future self is within reach.

So I say to you my judges, describe very clearly what you want from me and in return I would give you my best work. Let your requests truly echo your standards, which you would later use to judge my work, for my standards alone include also chances to either be lesser or bigger than yours and letting me decide the extent of my focus without your limitations, would create 2/3 the chances of miscommunication.
